Combining a love for food, cooking and how the body works made becoming a dietitian an easy choice.

After graduating as a dietitian Olwyn worked in a country hospital as a generalist dietitian for several years before returning to Perth.

Olwyn has a keen interest in supporting people to understand and manage pre-diabetes, diabetes and cardiovascular health through sustainable improvements to their eating and relationship with food.

She understands that improving nutrition is very personal and depends on where you are starting from and that everyone has different barriers to improving their eating.

Olwyn’s health tip: Stop, observe and take note of what, when and how much food leaves you feeling comfortable, satisfied and with the energy you need. This will allow you to prepare and plan to feed yourself regularly and well. Allow yourself time to make many small changes that will add up in the long run.
