Glynnis has worked as a physiotherapist in WA for more than 30 years.
She started her career as a physiotherapist in the hospital system, before venturing into private practice, where she worked for almost 10 years, specialising in musculoskeletal disorders with an emphasis on exercise prescription.
Glynnis then moved into community-based work with Community Physiotherapy Services, assessing and providing exercise programs to prevent or manage chronic conditions. The role involved providing comprehensive individual assessment and treatment for clients with respiratory and cardiovascular disease, and planning, implementing and supervising cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and maintenance programs for eligible clients.
Glynnis joined Black Swan Health in April 2016, where she planned and assisted in the running of our Strength to Strength exercise rehabilitation program.
She has now taken on a new role as the pulmonary physiotherapist and will see clients referred under a team care agreement at our Osborne Park premises.
