New Services: Assessments and Eating Disorder Treatment

Assessment Services

Our psychological assessment team now offer a range of tests to assess educational and cognitive ability, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). These services are available at our Osborne Park and Joondalup clinics.

Generally, our assessment process is as follows:

  • Initial meeting with the parents or carers to discuss concerns, strengths and challenges and to preface the assessment process.
  • Initial meeting with the child to explore their personal perceptions of their strengths and challenges.
  • Assessments completed with the time and number of sessions required dependent on the number of tests to be administered.
  • Comprehensive results feedback and written report to parents.

More detail about the types of assessments, including the Connors 3®, Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V) and Weschler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT) can be found here.

Families can complete the expression of interest form and one of our friendly staff will make contact to arrange an appointment and discuss our fee structure.

A referral is not required and wait times are currently less than one month.

Register your details here or email psychology@blackswanhealth.com.au and one of our helpful team members will contact you to discuss the services offered.
